Eiyala have three eyes, though the central one is typically closed. The two primary eyes have eyebrows that are a chain of dots. The central brow doesn’t have this. Above the central eye, they have a long horn.
Hands have three thick digits. Each leg terminates in a hoof.
Because their legs are so oddly shaped, they have a small set of wings at the base of their spine to help with balance.

Rulers[edit]
The Empresses aren’t necessarily a straight line inheritance. A ruler needs to posses almost exclusively Imperial traits. It is allowable for her to have one lesser trait, but no more than that. It’s generally preferred that her lesser trait be stellar or Royal, but it’s not unheard of for her to have a Common or Lordly trait.
Society[edit]
The title of Empress used to mean a great deal more than it does in modern eiyala society. There are three primary Empresses, whose courts have existed since the initial foundation of eiyala society: Sun, Moon, and Star. Other courts have been established over the millennia to accommodate population growth. They are Spirit, Forest, Mountain, Desert, and River.
Modern eiyala society is female dominated. At one time they were ruled by a line of Emperors, but the last one went mad with power and he was overthrown by the first three Empresses, known as the Trine. For several centuries after that, Evrast was split into three Courts: Heliacal, Stellar, and Lunar. As the population grew it became clear that there was a need for more Courts to be added.
The Courts
Evrast is currently broken up into eight Courts. The boundaries are occasionally disputed, but have largely remained the same since the Zenith Court was founded.
