The Talismans

The talismans represent five noble virtues: strength, truth, wisdom, courage, and hope. These were present strongly in those responsible for sealing away the Ssu-Ling so long ago. The talismans are designed to appear where they are needed most at the time they are needed. This is to prevent them from being acquired by the Lords of Chaos. That you have gained access to one can only mean that the Ssu-Ling are near and that their servants have discovered this is so. You are in danger as they will seek to corrupt you to their cause or to take this key from you by any means they can. They resemble weapons because they were first created in the heat of battle and then remade in battle. The physical talismans aren’t needed to free the Ssu-Ling, just their energy.
The talismans are keys to locking the seal binding the Ssu-Ling. When brought together, they can force them back behind the seal. The Lords of Chaos seek these keys so that they can put them in the hands of the Ssu-Ling. It will increase their power and prevent them from being sealed ever again. Each key corresponds to an attribute and can be found in a sehashi host. When manifested, each key forms an object.
The keys are manifestations from within a sehashi. They form in their soul when one is born that possesses the correct attributes. They take on slightly different appearances based on which sehashi they form within but they have the same general shape. The colours are always the same and are the colours of the sehashi who created them in the first place.

Courage: Lajraki - a cyvvan
