About[edit]

Type: Hamlet
Alternative Name: Ground Zero
Population: 30
Inhabitant Demonym: Meadowcovers
Location: Ciheim

The slimes first came to be known here, coming up out of the well. The first reaction of the villagers was to seal it off even though that would leave them with no immediate source of water. There was no other way to prevent them from coming into the village so it was done. A few days later they started coming in from the fields, devouring the crops.
Not knowing what else to do, they sent a messenger to Azmarin Temple for help. A regiment of soldiers and a Red Magi came soon after to investigate.
Reports came flooding in to the School of Magi in Whitebridge that these strange creatures have been spotted as far away as Dephel Village and even within Whitebridge itself. Queen Cherry declared a state of emergency and issued a decree to the Blue Magi, tasking them to study these things and discover where they came from, what they want, if they pose any serious threat to the people, and, more importantly, how to get rid of them.

Demographics[edit]

The people here were primarily farmers, growing a variety of hardy berries.

Government[edit]

Leadership of this small hamlet is usually hereditary, passed from mother to daughter. Should the last chieftess die without an heir, the eldest woman is offered the position.

Industry & Trade[edit]

They're berry farmers by trade. They grow fruit that doesn't mind the less than optimal soil in their area and make products from it. They sell these products as well as the raw berries in the Whitebridge markets as well as trading them to the priests at Azmarin Temple.

Infrastructure[edit]

They have an impressive irrigation system to keep their berry bushes well watered.

Guilds and Factions[edit]

It's far to small to have any.

Architecture[edit]

The buildings here are very simple, designed to be easy to maintain.

Geography[edit]

The area for miles around is completely flat.

Natural Resources[edit]

The water table beneath the village is fairly high, making it easy for them to dig wells for their irrigation system.
