Tchupak

Demonym - Tchupakian

Flag

Tchupak’s flag is shaped like a shield. It is light blue in color with a white lightning bolt running through it.

Racial Groups

An odd mixture of humans, siathi, and wolflings make up this eclectic bunch.

Leadership

Leadership usually falls to the humans as it is hereditary. The eldest child usually becomes the Tal’jeerann when their parent holding the position dies. Should the Tal’jeerann die without a blood heir or without appointing one, the tribal elders come together to choose a new Tal’jeerann, who is then presented to the people for their approval. If this individual is unacceptable, the process continues until one who is acceptable is found.

Clothing

Men and women’s clothing are quite similar to each other, though the names are different. Men’s garb is called Tiir’lovann and women’s is called Tor’lovann. Both wear long, baggy pants that tie at the ankle and tops that leave the navel and lower back exposed. Women’s tops are sleeveless while men’s have shoulder straps. Women wear a wide sash that forms a point over the left thigh pointing downwards. A man’s belt is thin and even all the way around. For shoes, women wear ankle high boots. Men, on the other hand, wear shoes with curled toes. Men also wear a thigh length vest.
Siathi wear tops that are backless that loop around the neck and either have straps that clip to the underside of their sash or that wrap around the back to tie in the front. It’s a personal preference.
The individual clothing parts are called:
Ajek – woman’s shirt
Rejek – man’s shirt
Tor’ann – women’s pants
Tiir’ann – men’s pants
Aj’ni – woman’s shoes
Aj’nal – men’s shoes
Sha’pei – sash
Jon’pei – belt
Jel’vir – vest

Beliefs

They prefer to continue very casually venerating Esterr, patron of the Nomadic way of life. They don’t keep shrines or trinkets etched with his emblem, but each major journey begins with a short prayer to Esterr, asking him to guide their footsteps.
