Statistics

With an average height between 5’11” and 7’ tall, they are the tallest of the three remaining subtypes.

Appearance

Colouration: Their pelt can be white, black, brown, or red-brown in color. It’s rare for an individual to have mixed pelt colors. Flesh Covering: They have a furred pelt that tends to lean towards the shaggy side of things.
Number of Eyes: 2. Eye color varies in shade, but can be blue, green, or brown.

Tails: 1. Theirs are fluffy and not as long, reminiscent of a snow dog’s tail.
Mode of walking: Facultative quadrupeds
Foot type: Like the Draconar, they have stubby claws on their toes. On their fingers, they have much shorter claws.

Their ears are like those of a dog, situated on the upper portion of the head with tips that fold over. They have canine muzzles with sharp teeth.
Karshe are much more tolerant of colder temperatures than the other two subtypes as their fur is very thick. As such, they rarely wear much in the way of clothing, usually only enough to cover important and vulnerable areas. They dislike jewelry but are very fond of rich fabrics and simple colors. They also have a fondness for geometric patterns.

Diet

They’re obligate carnivores. They can eat other things but they require a certain amount of meat to remain healthy.

Culture

They have a clan structure to their culture. All clan leaders within each subtype are listened to and respected.
Kairyll mostly speak their own language, but the vast majority also speak the common tongue of Keltos.

Beliefs

The kairyll have their own set of deities, but freely include the deities of the other species of Melphor into their shrines. The kairyll deities are only worshipped by the kairyll and are largely ignored by the people of Melphor, most notably the ones living on the continent of Ardren. Those of Keltos acknowledge these deities and include them into their calendars.
