Zulrit

The zulrit guard the entrance to the underworld. While it's unclear how many zulrit exist, it's known that there are at least six: Suformi, Ralpu, Lin, Tars, Vefirr, and Chyhuk.

In the language of magic, the names mean death, disease, hunger, war, anger, and sorrow.

The entrance always has a pair of them on guard, two serve as honour guards to Tehaksha Soul Eater, and the others patrol the underworld. It is believed that these creatures are Tehaksha's offspring, but no record of their birth exists in any divine text. Scholars through the ages have speculated on their origins with little success. Theories abound that the Gathering of the Black Hand may known, but if true they remain silent on the topic. Few first hand accounts exist regarding encounters with these creatures, but they're reported to be over seven feet tall and emit an odor similar to that of a rotting corpse.

High priestesses and priests can call on the zulrit in times of dire need.
