Since time immemorial, the city of Sunhame has been ruled over by the goddess Shan-Illu. In the year 1321 BF, her daughter Hihaye was crowned Empress and took over. She's been ruling ever since.

Shortly after her coronation, she commissioned the construction of the Aurora Palace. Previously, her mother had ruled from Her temple. There'd been no need for a palatial structure.
