Siathi Towers

Towers

The towers that dot the landscape of Salcreria are seen as something of a mystery to outsiders. The siathi treat them as living places and as things of reverence.

The proper names for the towers themselves are:
Emerald - Elzodos
Gold - Miorge
Silver - Faste
Jade - Zoduos
Amethyst - Lilme
Obsidian - Questos
Pearl - Lictra
Marble - Moaros
Quartz - Nevouos
Sunstone - Tovreos
Topaz - Pulimeos
Moonstone - Ebeos

Purpose

The towers are the administrative center for each region of Salcreria.

Architecture

Each tower is architecturally different from any of the others. The only ones similar to each other are the towers of Gleyarnae.

Defenses

Each tower has a small compliment of soldiers acting as guards. Most of these guards are new to their position and are learning the ins and outs of their job. For anyone with seniority to be posted there is considered either a punishment or a precursor to retirement.

These guards don't live at the towers, although there are rooms available for them should something prevent them from returning to their detachment.

In the event of a serious threat, the reulinn can cast a shield over the tower.
