Keltosian Mages

Mages on Keltos aren't as regulated as they are in the Alliance. There are no requirements to belong to a guild, although it's recommended.

Like their Alliance counterparts, they use magestones, although how they display this stone is up to them.

While they may dress however they like, there are types of outfits mages wear to more readily identify themselves and any patron they may have. The most common among the kairyyl is a one piece outfit accesorized by a thin band under the bust. A long piece of cloth hangs from that band, identifying a mage's affiliations.

The base colour identifies the guild or school they are affiliated with.
The narrow band designates their patron. For example, a mage displaying a purple band would be in the employ of the empress.
The long cloth identifies their primary element. Some choose to add a narrow band at the botton to denote their secondary focus, but it's not required.
Some mages display their magestone by hanging it on the narrow band.
An additional accessory denotes their rank. Earrings and arm bands are the most common.
