Deshenn

They have long, multi-pronged horns arcing back from just above the eyes. They have scales rather than hide. These dragons are primarily concentrated on the lower two islands and a few of the smaller islands in the chain.
They are mostly monogamous, but they do sometimes go through a few partners before they find one they would care to form a monogamous bond with. The females take on most of the egg caring responsibility, though the males take on a lot of the teaching duties.

Size: 85 to 105 feet (26-32 meters)
Territory: Alastean Islands
Special Ability: These dragons are alchemists. They can neutralize poisons and make non poisonous things dangerous to ingest. Older dragons learn to do other things with this ability over time.
Breath Weapon: The belch out a noxious gas that makes those it touches quite ill.
Egg Colour: jet black
Hatching Grounds: They prefer sandy grounds littered with some rocky debris, but aren’t really fussy about it so long as the area is defensible. Lifespan: They have an abnormally long lifespan, living to be as much as 1000 years old.
Reproductive Cycle: These dragons see age as attractive and woo older dragons. There are limits to the age gap, however, and it’s inappropriate for one to court a dragon who is more than 70 years older than you. The courting process involves a combination of gift giving and song singing.
