While it tends to be known as Mothdrop Lake, this name doesn't appear on any official map. This large lake near the Mothdrop Peaks has no name listed anywhere and neither does the woodland to the east. Cartographers have searched for centuries to try and determine if either of these locations have ever had a formal name but have yet to turn up anything. Locals insist on calling it Mothdrop Lake regardless of what the cartographers have to say about it.
