By the time she managed to defeat them, her grades had dropped so far that her parents finally noticed that things were not all right with her. They sent her to see medical professionals but they couldn't help her. It wasn't like she could tell them that the cause of her moods was stress from fighting supernatural enemies. Things were clearly not getting better, so when an opportunity came up to join one of the research teams in Gehenna City, her parents jumped at the chance, hoping that a fresh start would help her.
