Hatemi has waist length blond hair and brown eyes. Her skin is fairly pale despite the fact that she's outdoors a lot. She tends to tie her hair up in very Asian inspired hairstyles.

= History =
She was born in Red Deer, Alberta<br>
In high school, she had a part time job working at the Seven Stars Café near the university campus. She lives in the Elysium Apartments.<br>
Her mother is blond and Caucasian like she is. Her biological father was killed in a car accident only a few weeks after she got pregnant. She was born shortly after her mother got engaged to Masaaki Arai. Her given name is Japanese  means ‘horizon beauty’. She has an English middle name (Catherine, which she hates). Her last name of Summers is her biological father’s last name. This was done by the mutual agreement of her parents. Her step-dad and both her parents were school mates and good friends. Masaaki felt it would be best if Hatemi kept her father’s last name so that she would always have something of his with her. It was his way of honoring his friend.<br>
She has two younger brothers who both share their looks with their father. The oldest of the two was given the middle name of Hatemi’s father with a Japanese middle name. Her youngest brother is the opposite with a Japanese first name and his middle name is Hatemi’s father’s first name.<br>
In the 8th grade she had a serious crush on [[Yan Diamono|Yan]].<br>
