==Public== Pronunciation: Grrn
Gender: neuter; this species has no genders. Giirn doesn’t care what pronouns you use: she, he, it, whatever. Apparently, Giirn’s voice sounds feminine to gendered species so ‘she’ gets used most often.
Pronouns: She/her
Age: equivalent to 24 Earth years
Birthday: they don’t celebrate birthdays or even have a concept of them
Species: Thraecian
Home world: Thraeca
Current residence:
Appearance: * Height: 3 feet * Weight: 200 lbs Giirn has a dark grey-purple body with light purple eyes. The pebbled ridge above her eye is a darker purple than her body. The crystalline growths on her body are an iridescent teal colour. As she is only 8 years old, she doesn’t have that many yet, although she’s very proud of the crystalline collar she has around her neck.
Clothing style:
Personality: Giirn is initially shy around strangers and is easily startled. She’s quite curious, constantly poking at things to see how they work.
Strengths:
Weaknesses: Giirn has a strong aversion to water. She doesn’t like how it feels. Prolonged exposure to water can seriously damage Giirn’s rocky skin.
Family:
Occupation: Artificier
Dream: She dreams of building a most marvelous creation. Likes: fuzzy things
Dislikes: sharp things
History: She was supposed to have been a Skysmith. That would have been more than acceptable, except that one night while she was studying star patterns with her mentor their telescope stopped working. Normally, they’d have to wait and take it to a Techsmith the next day, but Giirn, bored and impatient, took the device apart, fixed it, and they went back to the lesson.
That began her fascination with how things worked. She was constantly picking things up, taking them apart, and poking at them to see if she could fix or improve them. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. At first the Enclave tolerated it, but that didn’t last long. They soon demanded that she either cease her tinkering or leave.
She wanted to change disciplines, to train as a Techsmith instead. None of the Techsmiths would have her. She simply shrugged and left, going from Enclave to Enclave until she found someone who would teach her. She soon mastered all that the Enclaves could teach her and still she wanted more.
She began tinkering on her own. She salvaged parts from downed Outsider ships to see that their tech was like.
==Skills== Known languages: Galactic Standard, Thraecian
