He doesn’t have much of a sense of humour. He's egotistic, conniving, and patient.
He was very little in the way of possessions, though he has a great deal of money and can afford to have whatever he wants.

His nose is a little on the large side.
He has no birthmarks, but he has a wide assortment of faint battle scars. He’s a soldier and a Wolf Warrior, so scars are an occupational hazard.

He is almost always in his army uniform. He wears his Sacred Gem on a band across his forehead.
Likes
His mother would always make a special kind of Jiinalese dessert called fefey, made with paper thin pastry wrapped around crushed nuts mixed with thick cream. The smell always reminds him of his mother, a woman he had nothing but love for. He feels sad when he smells it because she died without being able to see her home again.
For the most part, he finds jidos to be cloyingly sweet, but there are a few syrups used that aren't bad. The syrup made from the caltris tree—a coniferous tree common to the northern region of Doval—is relatively mild as far as sweetness goes.
Dislikes
He hates taila berries with a passion. There's no force on An'katerr that can get him to eat even one.

Physical Abilities: He’s a master tactician. He was trained from a young age to fight. He’s skilled with sword, spear, and bola.

History
Although clearly a native of Jiinal, Nuren is one of Doval’s Wolf Warriors as well as a General in the Dovalian army. In the year 862, he left his home and joined the army, heading for the North Region Training Camp. A few years into his service with the army he became a Wolf Warrior. His Sacred Gem gives him the ability to move very quickly.
He claims his birthday is the 70th day of winter in the year 846. If true, that would make his current age 26.
He does his best to remain aloof from his fellow Wolf Warriors. For the most part, this suits them just fine as his predilections and Jiinalese heritage make them uncomfortable. Once he began his long-term relationship with another Wolf Warrior by the name of Feron Kaluus, things became even more difficult.
Failures & Embarrassments
He was fifteen. He had feelings for one of the young boys living in his village. The boy rejected him and joined the priesthood out of disgust. Ever since then, he’s had a very strong dislike for the priesthood of Kal Kiterr.
Intellectual Characteristics
When he’s angry he goes to the nearest body of water. He finds waves relaxing. If he can, he goes to the Great Basin Lake but often has to make do with a garden pond or the Red River. Ideally, he’d go up to the coast and sit beside the ocean.
