Year constructed: 05 ABD
Architect: Alethi Nekiyuu
Organization: Chant of Fire
Associated Deity: Kal Sharash

The primary temple to the Fire Lord is a long, rectangular building divided into two sections.

North

A half-circle of steps leads up to the wide double doors. These doors are open except in dire circumstances, such as extreme weather, or if parts of the temple are undergoing repair.

A large fire blazes in the center of this area. The fire is never permitted to burn out. To this end, there are several priests designated as firekeepers. It is their job to keep the fire burning.
In front of the fire is a long table where people may purchase offerings to throw into the fire. All proceeds go to feeding the poor. Donations may be as high or as low as a person can afford.
People are, of course, free to bring their own offerings.

In each corner is a walled off alcove. These rooms are for members of the Chant to don their robes and make any preparations needed for the day.
There are alcoves for the firekeepers, initiates, junior priests, and senior priests.

Another set of stairs leads to a smaller door than the main entrance. This is known as the Fire Lord's Gate and it leads to the south end of the temple.

South

The altar to the Fire Lord is always on the south side of His temples and shrines. This is no better exemplified than in His main temple.

The first thing on the other side of the Fire Lord's Gate is an area for people to sit. A wide gap separates it from the seats reserved for the Imperial family.
There are doors on the east and west walls for processions to come through. These are closed save for festivals, special events such as marriages, and to provide cooling in the hottest summers.
A narrow set of stairs leads up to the Fire Lord's altar. It is dominated by a large statue of Kal Sharash in His dragon form.

Behind the altar and off to the right is the Chief's Alcove. Only the chief priest or priestess ever goes in there.

On the south wall is the Imperial Entrance.
