This weapon is said to have been invented by Lankirrinve the Warrior. While technically more of a halberd than a lance, no one wants to contradict a god on His nomenclature.
Dimensions
Length:
- The wooden shaft is 200 cm with the blade adding another 50 cm. The optional decorations at the butt of the staff potentially add another 10-15 cm.
Weight:
- These lances are heavier than spears, but lighter than traditional lances. They typically weight 5-6 lbs depending on how much ornamentation is added on.
Materials used:
- Traditionally, these weapons use wood harvested in the Lankirrince Forest. Most modern weapons wood found elsewhere. Imported wood costs less than locally sourced materials, but is considered superior by all centauricorn weaponsmiths. All metal used in making the blades is mined from a single mine in the Tehvir Mountains. When refined, it has a reddish colour to it.
